What a month April has been!
I celebrated my first two sales and yes I’m team celebrate success! My inaugural collector in this journey is Chris aka The Bald Photographer. Chris is famous for his water drops, some of the sales from his collection are pooled to be put back into the community by purchasing images like this one from me. EasterBurn was photographed at my local lake, Herdsman Lake it’s a beautiful wetland that has about 100 species of birds and is just under a 8km walk around on some beautiful bushy paths and walkways. The space is one of the biggest breading grounds for Tiger Snakes so not ideal in the summer. On the west side of the lake there is a beautiful view of the sun rising and a small glimpse of the Perth CBD skyline far in the distance. On this morning the sunrise was so vibrant it seemed unreal, coupled with a rare no-wind morning the conditions were ideal. Sunrises this bright are quite hard to shoot as the brightness can sometimes blow out the photo beyond being repair in editing. When witnessing these scenes it always amazes me that morning walkers and cyclists don’t stop and take a moment to soak the scene in, maybe they just don’t see what we see? This is EasterBurn.
