ScreamingSunset was picked up by the fabulous Timmboslice_
This image was shot at my favourite dog beach, Mosman Beach, just near where I live. I don’t have a dog but love a morning walk here to watch the dogs spread their happiness! This image was shot in the middle of Summer on a stinking hot night. We’re lucky enough to have temps above 30*C at 8pm at night and the only way to cool down is a cooling dip, absolute bliss. Beachside reflections are hard to capture, when you are sourcing a location notice what the sand is like, does the water soak straight in or does it sit for a second or two? You have that one moment to capture the shot, just as the ocean laps the shoreline it will hold still for a few seconds. A reflection will appear briefly as the sand starts to absorb the sea-water and the wave slowly recedes to be lost in the vast ocean. Miss the water seeping into the sand and you miss the shot.
