Deciding to mint an edition piece is a hard decision in the NFT space, will it damage me? Will it sell out?
The decision to do editions are driven by many reasons and they are all valid, whether you need the money to survive, yes, there are artists that rely on this space to survive, think of artists that have escaped a war-torn area, they now have an opportunity to access funds to survive, we as a community can rally and support them as we have recently done for our good friend Irena.
It may be that you may wish to give your peers the opportunity to collect your art, as we know our 1/1 images are of a higher price-point, not all of our peers are able to purchase these, editions open images up to all to collect.
The edition piece I have chosen represents me and the journey I have been on and continue to go on.
The evening was stinking hot and stormy, I rushed from work to to try and get in front of the clouds. When I parked up I new straight away this will be a shoot to remember, to the east were what I call angel clouds, I quickly caught these. As I headed down the sandy path to the shore the sun dipped under the lower clouds, I could see the light bouncing off everything it touched, I captured Summer Grass at this moment.
When I finally made it to the shoreline I was greeted with happy dogs playing in the waves and the most beautiful golden glow, followed by Virga Clouds and a bright red burn, the whole show, from leaving the car, went for some 50 minutes.
