GoldenSands at NFT NYC 2023

A few years back after discovering photography, I found out about the #ShotOnIphone competition where you could share your iPhone photos using the hashtag to gain the attention of Apple with the chance to have your image featured on billboards around the world.

My first time entering the competition I got close enough to sign some paperwork, but didn’t make the final cut. For me this was motivation enough to continue my photography journey with a “big girl camera”.

Fast forward to 2023 and I am one of the people early into NFTs or digital collectables in the photography space. 

A goal of many is to have an image featured in the real life shows with a Times Square Billboard showcase being the gold star.

I am so excited that one of my images has been selected to be displayed at the NFTNYC2023 event at the Artists Village (North Javits, Hudson Yards from 12 - 14 April 2023! At the time I was notified that over 2,840 people had applied!

In late March, 200 Artists will be selected to have their works also shown on Times Square Billboards, I really hope I make it this year!

The selection also also included a free ticket that will be a massive opportunity to meet so many friends I’ve made in the past few years, unfortunately I cannot make it! One year I hope to.
